I've been thinking a lot about my own recovery

as well as my history with terrible body image, recovering from eating disorders, and overexercising...and where I'm at today.

Looking back, I realize how helpful it would have been if I had support and a safe space I could explore my thoughts, feelings, and know I wasn't alone. Without judgement.

It was easy for me to say, "Oh, well it's not THAT bad" or "even if I did have support, it's not like they'd understand". Because of this, it kept me in my disordered behaviors, feeling shame, and so much anxiety.
